Optional Places for Music during a Ceremony

By using through this website, you have now been through all of the places where music is required for a wedding ceremony.

Since a ceremony is so short, you may have found more "favorite" pieces than there are "slots" in the wedding liturgy

We can usually find a way to work these into the wedding.

Extra selections may be performed during:

• the prelude, as guests are being seated

• the seating of the mother, parents, or other honored guests

• the lighting of the Unity candle, if you are using one

• after the exchange of rings

• during the postlude, as guests are leaving

Just let us know which pieces you are trying to fit in, and we will suggest a way to add it!

The list below contains music that you may wish to add at some point during your ceremony. We can usually shorten pieces to fit as needed.

"Arioso" (Bach)
"O Perfect Love"
"Ubi Caritas" (chant)
"Sheep my Safely Graze" (Bach)
"The Call" (Vaughan Williams)
"Humbly, Lord, We Worship You"
"Ave Maria" (Schubert)
"Panis Angelicus" (Franck)
"Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" from "Solomon" (Handel)
"Hear Us Now, our God and Father"
"Rhosymedre" (Vaughan Williams)
